Cat

i met a cat on my way home just now.
it stared at me.
i attempted a smile at it.

i wonder if stray cats yearn for a home..

sometimes it looks extremely fierce
when it glares at me as i walk past.
sometimes it looks so pitiful to be
wondering around those void decks.
wat breaks my heart is to c them
drenched in the rain,
running for their lives to reach
shelter n shake the water off.
i noe a cat died
from the cold in the rainstorm..
my fren failed to keep it alive
after bringing it home n giving it warmth..

do stray cats yearn for a home?
if not, y do they always look longingly at passer-bys?
